Sharing Japan’s Unique Craft Heritage with the World
Roca Japan connects Japanese artisans with homes around the world, delivering craftwork made one piece at a time, to order.
Our first products are lights of Kyoto Lantern and Suruga Bamboo Craft. You choose the shape, washi covering, and size; an artisan makes each piece after your order.
In September 2026 we open at TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Songyan in Taipei, our first chance to show the real pieces to customers overseas. What we hear there will guide where we deliver next.

You know who made it
Your light is made by Kojima Shoten in Kyoto and certified traditional craftsman Shigeyasu Sugiyama in Shizuoka. Behind the piece that reaches you are the maker’s name and workshop.
Passing the craft to the next generation
Each order becomes fair pay for the artisans and an investment in handing down their skills. We choose materials made to last, so the craft stays in your life along with the light.
